Just messing around with Painter and getting some practice in. This is my first posting. Be gentle :) Been using Painter for about 4 months now. Loving the digital art scene!

This was made using the oils in Painter and touched up in Photoshop. Enjoy!

this looks a lot like a photo just put through a filter, but upon closer inspection you can tell it's a genuine painting. :aww: you have a very lovely, smooth style. love your tone use :heart:

Thanks a lot! I was afraid that it would have that ';photoshoped' or 'filtered' look to it. In my upcoming portraits I'm going to tinker with roughing it up just a little bit. Maybe even let just a little canvas show occasionally to give the pieces a more genuine look to it. I have a bad habit of trying to incorporate every little detail. Thanks!
